How to design a professional logo in Adobe Photoshop without Illustrator

To design a logo in Photoshop, begin by setting up a new square canvas and establishing your brand's concept. Use the Shape tools to create basic elements, or the Pen tool for custom designs, and the Text tool for typography. Use layers to keep elements organized, adjust shapes with Free Transform, and add color with solid fills, gradients, or effects. Finally, export your logo as a high-quality PNG or JPG file for various uses.
1. Prepare Your Design
  • Brainstorm & Concept:
Develop ideas that align with your brand's identity and research inspiration.
  • Create a New Canvas:
Go to File > New and create a square canvas, at least 1000x1000 pixels for flexibility. Set resolution to 300 pixels/inch for print quality.
  • Organize Your Workspace:
Open the Layers panel (Window > Layers) and create a new layer for each element of your logo.
